Premiering this month emerges the gnarliest theater experience to ever shred New York City! A new, sensationally energetic dark comedy, RIGHTEOUS: THE SKATEBOARD PLAYwill proudly debut for a limited engagement at the indoor skatepark, SKATEYOGI. Conceived by and starring SHUT Skateboard’s Kyle Matthew Hamilton, the two-act play showcases the radical tale of one skateboarder’s struggle to win his last contest. The piece highlights the state of the 1980s skate industry and the dysfunction that caused companies to close and ended many skater’s careers, along with the loving brotherhood that united their community.

Performing alongside Hamilton includes the talented Eden Malyn, Joshua Bess, and newcomer Aaron Latta-Morissette.

For participating audience members who bring their own board, following the bodacious show will be a celebratory skate session with the cast.

The production is abiding by an industry RSVP list only; however, a small handful of lottery tickets for the May 19th evening production can be had by emailing with your name, phone number, and number of tickets (2 max). If selected, you will receive a confirmation email on May 10th. Now jump off the internet and go skate!
